Flying Teachers has twelve Learning Centres throughout Switzerland. And we can "fly" to you if you wish. So you can learn wherever you are: in the office, on the train or at home. We can also teach you via Skype.

Developing, organising and running language training courses has been our passion for 25 years. We have a huge database of teaching materials and exercises, and you can count on 740 highly qualified teachers.

Recognised examination centre

Flying Teachers is an authorised training centre for teachers of Cambridge University as well as CELTA and DELTA. The Swiss Association for Continuing Education (SVEB) recognises us as a training centre for foreign language teachers. We are also a member of the ICC International Language Network.

Our course types

Group courses in our training centres

Learning a language expands your world. In a classic language course, you work on all language skills: Listening comprehension, reading, writing and speaking. You learn a language from scratch in a group. You practise with specialised teaching materials, but also with examples from everyday life or literature. You discuss and work in small groups, in pairs and alone. You choose the number of lessons per week depending on how quickly you want to progress.

Certificate courses

Is it important to you to prove your language skills with a certificate? Then our certificate preparation courses are the right choice for you. You will be specifically prepared for the requirements of the desired certificate exam. You can obtain most certificates directly from Flying Teachers, as we are recognised as an examination centre by numerous institutions.

Conversation courses

Finding the right word or the right turn of phrase at the right moment in a conversation takes practice. The aim of our conversation courses is to enable you to speak fluently and freely. The courses follow a clearly structured course plan. The group works with a course book and/or teaching material produced by Flying Teachers.

Language for the job

Do you need your language skills primarily for your job? In our work-orientated courses in various languages, you will practise using general situations from everyday working life and learn the vocabulary required for a professional activity in addition to the general basic vocabulary. Like all our courses, these are structured according to our Integrated Learning approach.

One-to-one lessons wherever you like

Do you prefer to learn on your own or does a group course not fit into your diary? Then let us advise you. We will be happy to put together a personal, tailor-made course programme for you. We will "fly" to you and teach you wherever you want, or at our centrally located course venues.

One-to-one lessons via Skype

Wherever you are: If you have an internet connection, you can also be taught via Skype at any time. A teacher - also anywhere in the world - will discuss grammar questions and tasks with you. Documents are exchanged via e-mail or our learning platform. This service is available in German, English, Spanish, Italian and French.

Private lessons as a group

You can also learn a language together with a few friends or colleagues! For groups of three or more, a teacher will "fly" to where you would like to be taught. Get in touch with us and let us show you the possibilities.
